THE EAGLE BAR

The Eagle Bar is a classic gay bar on K Road serving Good cocktails with a great jukebox. It gets busy after 9 pm on weekends. Conveniently located in front of the only gay club in town, family bar.

FAMILY BAR

The Family Bar has a long standing on KRoad and is almost-always open. Family Bar boasts the biggest crowds week after week after week, with cheap drinks, a night of raucous dancing and a regular roll-out of drag queens. If this is your thing Family Bar is the place to be.

RED BAR

A tiny bar which packs a punch. Red Bar has awesome cocktails and they almost take it as a challenge to come up with something different making them a cut above the rest. Red Bar is a nice place to chill out for a few drinks to start or end a night out.

THE DOGS BOLLIX

A classic Irish Bar, The Dogs Bollix is a live entertainment venue and proudly supports New Zealand original music. They provide good food from their kitchen every day and are open from 11.30 till late.
